Production Operative / Machine Minder
Tomlin Personnel are currently recruiting for a Production Operators / Machine Minders in a specialist coating facility. This is a shop floor based role, with a selection of responsibilities that include masking parts and preparing parts for coating.

Initially this is a temporary position, based on 40 hours per week, with a 3 shift rotation subject to completion of on the job training to a satisfactory level. Your training will take place on Days Monday to Friday for the first 2 weeks, before moving onto the shift rotating pattern.

The Role (Primary):

Cleaning and preparing parts to ensure suitability for vacuum coating.

Masking of parts using either special tapes or mechanical masks

Grit blasting and peening of precision components.

Completion of paperwork to record the work done

Repetitive work

Manual Handling

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a manufacturing role, and as such, awareness of the critical nature of the work they will be performing.

You will be required to work from your own initiative at times due to the nature of the work.

The candidate must be willing to work shifts, including days, afternoons and night shifts to suit the company needs.

Experience working in a treatments / coatings department would be beneficial.

This position pays from £10.42 ph to £12.08 ph subject to successful completion of training

Salary:

Day shift ( £10.42 ph )
Afters Shifts ( £11.04 ph )
Night shift ( £12.08 ph)
