We are looking to recruit Class 1 Drivers to work with a leading retail company in Shirebrook based near Mansfield Nottinghamshire.

Job Description Overview

This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently across multiple various locations, requiring a commitment to safety and punctuality, performing regular vehicle safety checks, managing delivering paperwork correctly and collaborating with the transport office and loads.

– Working part of a 2 Man Store Delivery Team working along one of their own drivers. Driving duties plus helping with cages for the deliveries into stores and bringing back empty cages.

– There are long night shifts between 15-21 hours with the shift patters of 4 on 2 off, overtime available for a 5th day.

– Newly passes are welcome however, MAX of 6 points for minor offences.

– No branded clothes to be worn at all times.

– Onsite parking is available

– Ongoing work job with temp to perms available if the position is right for you.

Requirements:

– Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
– Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
– Newly passes welcome
– Maximum of 6 points on your licence (No DR, DD, DG, IN10, TT Codes)
– No previous experience is required

– Professional, reliable & punctuality in all shifts
– Good problem solving-skills for route changes/delays
– High attention levels for paperwork and vehicle checks
– Team player
– Customer-focused approach during work deliveries
– No branded clothing to be worn

Salary Pay

Weekdays – £18.40 (Nights)
Weekends – £23.00 (Nights)
Overtime Pay (5TH Shift) £34.50 GBP hourly (Nights)
